Elaine Yap

Elaine Co is a General Partner and Founding Strategic Advisor at TenSquared Capital LLC (10SQ).
Elaine brings over 30 years of institutional business leadership experience in the asset management industry, recognized by her peers for building operational standards of excellence from ground up.
Elaine has grown from inception three global asset management firms founded on good governance, alignment, and transparency for their respective LPs and has raised and fostered over US$3.5Bn institutional capital relationships spanning endowments, foundations, pensions, and family offices.
Elaine is Managing Partner of Blumandarin Capital Ltd, a single family office founded in 2019 that selectively identifies, invests and incubates from inception best-of-breed investment managers.
Under Blumandarin, Elaine co-launched Stillbrook Capital in HK, a Greater China long only fund, with US$300M institutional capital amidst the pandemic backdrop.
Prior to Blumandarin, Elaine co-founded Janchor Partners Limited in 2009, a Pan Asia Long/short equity fund spun off from TCIF’s Asia team, growing it from 2009 US$23M startup to 2018 US$4Bn multi-product institutional quality to become one of Asia’s largest homegrown stalwart asset management firms.
Elaine started her post-MBA career at Morgan Stanley New York’s FIG M&A and Structured Products groups.
Named one of the 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds 2013 by HFJ and E&Y, Elaine received her B.A.
from Ateneo De Manila, her MBA from Kellogg School of Management, and completed the AMP at Harvard Business School.
In 2019, Elaine was invited to the Kellogg Admissions Leadership Council.
She is a Global Angel member of the 100 Women in Finance.
