Hydra Tidal's business idea is to develop competitive technology solutions for electricity production from low-speed water currents. In connection with its technological insight they will develop park areas for the production of electricity in Norway. Hydra Tidal has a green profile because electricity production using Morild is renewable and from a perpetual energy source. This means that no greenhouse gasses are emitted during operation. An important part of all forms of renewable energy is its Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). That is, how much greenhouse gasses are emitted in connection with component production and assembly, transport, operation and maintenance over the life span and recycling at the end. A calculation is done which shows omissions per kWh over the life span. In a preliminary report, Morild is comparable to on-shore wind power and has a lower environmental influence.
