Demetris Aletraris

Born in Nicosia, he is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
After his studies, he began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick in London and later held important management posts in a number of corporations.
He was the CFO of General Insurance of Cyprus and of Pancyprian Insurance.
From 2004 he worked for eight years as General Manager of CP Reinsurance.
He came to EMMA Group immediately after its founding in 2012 and became Managing Director of EMMA Capital Limited.
As an expert in setting up and running companies in the most efficient way, he was also chosen for the CEO position of the gaming company OPAP Cyprus.
Under his leadership, the company underwent a major restructuring and achieved the highest profitability for the whole period of its existence.
Demetris Aletraris has been working in the statutory bodies of the EMMA Group since 2012.
