David McCartney

David McCartney, VP-Marketing & Sales David McCartney has nearly 25 years of experience in the wireless industry.
As president of m2direct (www.m2direct.com), he currently serves as a senior consultant to several large wireless companies, helping them launch new products into the market.
In addition, he is co-founder of Premier Technical Sales' newest endeavor -- Premier Wireless Solutions, a wireless distribution company focused on the M2M market.
Over the course of his career, McCartney has successfully managed large corporations, as well as start-ups.
As VP of marketing and business development for Wavecom, he was responsible for implementing the company's overall marketing program and expanding opportunities within the Americas.
Before joining Wavecom, he held senior management positions with Motorola, Ericsson, and Bosch Telecom.
An acknowledged writer and speaker, McCartney has published 23 articles and has led many speaker tracks in wireless events and universities around the world.
He received a B.S.
degree from Iowa State University and an MBA degree from Lynchburg College.
