David LaHorgue

Prior to joining Pani Bekaert Pluim Capital, Mr. LaHorgue was a Managing Director of Barclays Global Investors where he built the firm's cash management business.
At the time of his departure the cash business consisted of a global capability with $185 billion in assets, focused primarily on securities lending collateral and institutional money market funds.
Beyond overseeing the construction of BGI's cash portfolio, operations and marketing capabilities, Mr. LaHorgue sat on several firm wide committees such as those focused on global investment performance, risk management, and Managing Director promotions.
Before spending sixteen years with BGI, Mr. LaHorgue worked in the Short Term Finance Group of Bankers Trust Company in New York City as a commercial paper trader.
He began his career at Dean Witter Reynolds as a fixed income marketer and trader in both San Francisco and New York City.
Mr. LaHorgue graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in Political Science.
He holds NASD Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
