David J. Kass

Prior to joining Wellspring in 1997, Mr. Kass was a vice president and chief financial officer of CW Group, an early stage healthcare venture capital group.
While at CW, Mr. Kass was actively involved in the management of several portfolio companies, including CareAdvantage, Inc., a public managed care company, where he served as interim president.
Prior to CW, he was a director and senior manager of Genetrix, Inc. (formerly MediGene, Inc.), a venture backed genetic services organization.
Mr. Kass received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics with concentrations in finance and accounting from Lehigh University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
