Christian Michael Heidl

Christian Heidl is an Advisor at CORDET and provides focused experience and expertise to support the Funds’ investee companies.
Christian is also CORDET’s contact person for the DACH region.
Christian is a seasoned investor of private equity as well as private debt in the middle-market businesses in the UK and Germany.
With over 25 years of experience in sponsor-less buyouts and growth capital transactions, he served on numerous boards of companies in a wide range of industries, with a focus on B2B sectors.
Christian was previously a Partner of Praesidian Europe, a credit opportunities fund which he co-founded, and prior to that a Managing Partner of MML Capital, a structured private equity fund and formerly Europe’s first independent Mezzanine Fund.
Prior to that, he held senior roles at BancBoston Capital and Deutsche Beteiligungs AG.
Christian is a German national, bilingual in German and English, and holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Management from Munich Technical University of Applied Sciences.
