Adam Goetsch

Adam is an Operating Partner and Head of e-Commerce on AEA’s Middle Market Private Equity team.
In his role, he is primarily focused on working with portfolio companies to maximize value creation through improved e-Commerce customer experiences and operating performance as well as cross-portfolio best practice development.
Adam currently serves on the board of TileBar.
Before joining AEA, Adam was the co-founder and managing partner of Inflection Shift Consulting, a boutique consulting firm focused on helping companies improve their e-Commerce performance.
Before starting his own consulting firm, Adam spent 14 years at Amazon.com with roles focused on pricing, product management, buying and software development.
During Adam’s tenure, he was the general manager of three different categories: Lawn & Garden, Home & Furniture and Automotive Parts & Service.
He started his career in management consulting at Ernst & Young.
Adam graduated with honors from the University of Illinois where he earned a B.S.
in Mechanical Engineering.
He also earned an M.B.A.
with distinction from The Ross School of Business at University of Michigan.
