The International business unit covers industries in consumer electronics products such as mobile devices, smartphones, portable audio devices, wearable electronics, home appliances. The Greater China business unit deals with industries in mobile phones and wearable electronics to home entertainment equipment in China and Taiwan region. The Consumer Electronics business unit represents home appliances, computing peripherals and medical industries. The EMS/ODM business unit services customers using wireless devices including smartphones, tablets, wearables, and other immersive wireless devices. The company was founded by Hsiao Tung Yao in 1980 and is headquartered in Singapore.
