PineBridge Investments Asia Ltd. is the asset management and investment advisory subsidiary of PineBridge Investments Holdings (Gibraltar) No. 1 Ltd., ultimately held by Chiltonlink Ltd. in British Virgin Islands. Formerly known as AIG Global Investment Corporation (Asia) Ltd., the firm was founded in 2009 when they were spun off by American International Group. Headquartered in Hong Kong, PineBridge Investments Asia provides alternative investment, asset allocation, equity, and fixed-income strategies for institutions, insurance companies, intermediaries and individual clients.

AIG Global Investment Corp. (Asia) Ltd. (Rep. Office) (AIG-GIC-Asia) is the Chinese asset management arm and a wholly-owned subsidiary of AIG Global Investment Group, part of American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG). The group's presence in China originated in 1980. AIG-GIC-Asia was established in 2002 and is located in Shanghai. The firm contributes to the research and investment management activities of their twin office in Hong Kong, and also cooperates with AIG-Huatai Fund Management Co., the joint venture they established with Huatai Securities Co.
