Victor Pina

Mr. Victor Pina is a Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer at Javelin Capital LLP.
He joined Javelin Capital in February 2009.
He is also a Portfolio Manager on the Global Equity Strategies Fund.
Before Javelin Capital, he joined Goldman Sachs International in 2006 and managed a multi-approach Emerging Markets equity long-short strategy whilst there.
He was also able to develop a unique investment process, which he implemented in his fund.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked from 1994 to 2006 at Citigroup/Legg Mason where he co-managed the Global Emerging Markets long-only product and built the Mexican equity business.
He also worked as a part time Professor in Risk Management, Portfolio Management and Equity Derivatives at ITAM.
Mr. Pina has a Masters degree in Finance and a Major in Actuarial Sciences from ITAM, Mexico.
