Tanvir Abid

Mr. Tanvir Abid is an Analyst at NCB Capital Co. He was previously employed as Head of Research by NBP Fullerton Asset Management Ltd.
He has over 12 years of experience in Pakistan’s financial markets.
Since August 2009, he has been associated with NAFA as Head of Research and member of the Investment Committee of all funds.
He has strong academic credentials and an accomplished and established track record in capital markets research.
He started his career as a Financial Analyst with Jahangir Siddiqui Capital Markets (now JS Global Capital).
He was later promoted to Head of Research and spent a total of about five years in the firm.
He then worked as Head of Research in Live Securities Limited for nearly two years where he streamlined and revamped the Research department.
Following that he worked in Institutional Equity Sales in IGI Finex Securities and Elixir Securities for almost three years in total.
Mr. Abid holds an MBA and BBA (Hons) with majors in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi (IBA).
He was the Silver Medalist in the MBA Program.
Mr. Abid was awarded the CFA Charter in 2003 and the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification in 2004.
He has also been associated with the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi (IBA) as a visiting faculty member.
