Contrarius Investment Advisory Ltd. (CIAL) is an independent Great Britain-based asset management firm which was founded by Stephen Mildenhall in 2008. Headquartered in London, CIAL provides investment advisory services to private and institutional clients.

Allan Gray Unit Trust Management (RF) (PTY) Ltd. (Allan Gray UTM) is the South Africa-based asset management subsidiary of Orbis Holdings Ltd. in Bermuda. Established in 1974, the firm is based in Cape Town, with additional offices throughout South Africa. They are a Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment contributor which manages mutual funds and segregated accounts for institutional clients including pension funds, medical aid schemes and endowments, as well as for private individuals. They are a socially responsible investor which supports the principles proposed by the Code for Responsible Investing in South Africa (CRISA) and works in partnership with Bermuda-based Orbis Investment Management Ltd., which manages offshore equity mutual funds. The firms share the same investment philosophy and were both founded by Allan W B Gray.
