Dr. Stefano Siviero is Head of Economic Outlook & Monetary Policy Service at Banca d'Italia.
He joined the Bank in 1989, where he collaborated in the development of quarterly econometric model and the production of macroeconomic forecasts.
In 2007, he was appointed Head of the Modeling and Forecasting Division and then became Head of the Economic Outlook and Monetary Policy Directorate in 2013.
Dr. Siviero is the Bank of Italy's representative on the ECB's Monetary Policy Committee.
Dr. Siviero graduated with honours in Economics and Business from the University of Pavia in 1985.
In addition, he achieved Master's and PhD in Economics at
the University of Pennsylvania Philadelphia, USA in 1989 and 1995 respectively.
