Mr. Stefan Frübing is an Economist at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.
After being an intern in the chief economist team of the German competition authority for four months, he joined ZEW's Research Group "Competition and Regulation" in October 2013.
His main research area lies in competitive strategy and competition policy.
Furthermore, he has a strong interest in the application of game theory methods.
Mr. Frübing studied economics at the University of Mannheim, completing his bachelor degree in August 2011.
Directly onwards, he pursued his master studies in a double degree program organized by the European Network for Training in Economic Research (ENTER), which allowed him to obtain master's degrees in economics both from the University of Mannheim and the Toulouse School of Economics.
While spending his final year in Toulouse, he completed a specialized Master 2 programme with focus on industrial organization and competition policy, graduating with distinction.
