Prior to joining Sectoral in 2008, Mr. Lapierre spent 16 years in institutional equity sales and research at investment dealers First Marathon Securities Ltd, Morgan Stanley and CIBC World Markets.
His three years as an equity research associate in Toronto (1992-1995) led him to cover companies in the energy, financial services and industrial sectors.
His primary equity sales functions (1995-2008) in Montreal and New York City were to develop, maintain and enhance customer relationships with pension funds, insurance companies, mutual funds and other asset managers.
Mr. Lapierre graduated in 1992 from the Université du Québec à Montréal with a degree in business administration, specializing in economics, management and finance.
