Roberto Ribeiro Vinháes

Mr. Roberto Vinhaes is Founding Partner at Investidor Profissional Gestão de Recursos Ltda.
He started his career working with investments in 1980 and is member of the Investment Committee, and Portfolio Manager of IP Global Fund.
He was the manager of the long-only portfolio of Brazilian equities in the very beginning of the fund, considered pioneer in Brazil; as well the division transaction (and subsequent sale) of the Elevadores Atlas by the Aços Villares in 1999.
He helped directly and indirectly in achieving major improvements in corporate governance field in Brazil, as a voluntary concession by Saraiva (Bovespa: SLED4) the right to tag-along rights for preferred shares in 2000, some few years before the practice became usual in the country.
Mr. Vinhaes holds a degree in Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).
