Robert John Schoen

Mr. Robert J.
Schoen is a Co-Chief Investment Officer of Global Asset Allocation at Putnam Investment Management LLC.
He is responsible for the overall strategy and positioning of Putnam’s Global Asset Allocation products.
His responsibilities include the research that drives equity security selection strategies, portfolio construction, and risk management for Global Asset Allocation portfolios.
His work contributes to Putnam’s Capital Markets Outlook.
In addition, he is a Portfolio Manager of the firm.
Previously at Putnam, he served as a Co-Head of GAA, Head of the Quantitative Models group, and as an Analyst for Global Asset Allocation.
He joined Putnam in 1997 and has been in the investment industry since 1990.
He has over 34 years of industry experience.
Mr. Schoen was a self-employed Financial Consultant and a Head of Research at Signalert Corporation.
Mr. Schoen received his BA degree from Tufts University and an MBA degree from The Leonard N Stern School of Business.
