Peter J. Krey

Mr. Krey, currently an independent consultant, was most recently the Chief Technology Architect/CTO, DB Asset Mgt.
North America, and Head of Application & Tech Infrastructure group at Deutsche Bank, providing tech infrastructure, developer tools, middleware, web and database technologies.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Peter was the head of Business Development & Strategic Partnering Group for StorageApps, a venture backed start-up, and was responsible for creation of key partner engineering & technology relationships, creation of joint product development ventures, relationship management with VC and private equity communities, and M&A opportunity tracking of new and emerging companies.
He has also held senior management roles at other investment banks such as Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnering at Morgan Stanley, where he founded and built the Morgan Stanley IT Business Development and Strategic Partnering Group, and Global Program & Project Manager of the firm’s global Sales & Trading Solaris Migration, and group head of Morgan Stanley's Distributed Operating Environments Group.
Peter was also held senior management roles in IT for JP Morgan, managing the Global Derivatives Technology Architecture and Advanced Technology Group and at Bankers Trust, as a senior member of its Micro Systems & Network Technology group.
He is a graduate with High Distinction of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the recipient of the Wall Street Journal Award for his innovative work on Numerical Computing Methods & Markowitz Portfolio Theory.
During his engineering school studies, he earned four Student Intern Assignments with IBM, including several at the prestigious Yorktown Thomas J.
Watson Research Center.
Dr. Krey also attended the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences MS-PhD Mathematics Joint Focus Program with Stern School of Business at New York University.
