Patricia Walker

Ms. Walker was born and raised on 4,000 acre farm.
In conjunction with her family’s corporate farming operation she has personally bought land and farmed for several years.
She also has experience in the investment sector, and worked with a private wealth management firm in Calgary, where she was responsible for the selection and supervision of $40 million of mutual fund investments for the firm’s clients.
Since 2000, she has worked with landowners through various organizations, including a land trust, the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association, and, most recently, as a licensed land agent representing landowners in surface rights negotiations with resource companies.
She is currently an Articling Agrologist.
She is currently with Agcapita GP Corp.
Ms. Walker has a B.Sc.
in Agriculture (majoring in both Plant and Animal Science, University of Alberta, 1979) and she held her Certified Financial Planner designation from 1999-2002.
