Moritz Stieglitz

Mr. Moritz Stieglitz is an Economist at Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung Halle.
In February 2017, he joined the Research Group Law and Finance as a doctoral student.
His research focuses on financial stability, unconventional monetary policy, and macro-prudential regulation.
From 2010 to 2013, he studied at the University of Düsseldorf (B.Sc.
in Economics) and from 2013 to 2016 at the University of Frankfurt (M.Sc.
in International Economics and Economic Policy).
In his master’s thesis, he examined the effect of the announcement of OMT by the ECB on credit supply by European banks.
