Leahy, CPA, is a President & Chief Executive Officer at Connecticut Wealth Management LLC.
He founded Connecticut Wealth Management in October 2010 and has been instrumental in developing the Connecticut Wealth Management team and culture.
As Chief Executive Officer of the firm, he is responsible for managing the firm according to its Mission Statement and Guiding Principles.
Mr. Leahy has over 25 years of professional experience in wealth management, financial planning and taxation.
He provides comprehensive personal financial and estate planning services.
He works with business owners, corporate executives, medical and dental professionals, and other individuals with complex financial affairs.
Mr. Leahy is a past Board Member of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford and has been a Board Member of the Rushford Center and served on their Quality and Credentialing Committee.
In addition, Mr. Leahy was a member of the Professional Advisory Committee of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Leahy graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and earned a Master’s in Taxation with a concentration in Financial Planning from Northeastern University.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a Certified Financial Planner licensee.
