John D. Tyson

John is a Director at Enhanced Capital’s DC Fund where he assists in overseeing and implementing the Fund’s overall strategic vision, including identifying and structuring investments in support of the District of Columbia’s program to support small, local and minority businesses.
John also serves as Managing Director for Meridian Hill Advisors LLC, a DC based boutique real estate investment and advisory firm focused on credit lease transactions including transactions involving US government tenanted properties and public private partnerships.
Prior to starting Meridian Hill Advisors, John served as general counsel for a DC based holding company.
Originally from Washington DC, John holds a J.D.
from the University of Maryland School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from Hampton University.
He is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, DC Bar Association, Leadership Washington Class of 2003, and White House Intern Class 1995.
