Jochen Kluve

Dr. Jochen Kluve is a Head of Berlin Office at RWI - Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung e.V.
He is Professor of Empirical Labor Economics at Humboldt University Berlin (since 2011) and head of the Berlin Office of RWI, for which he has worked since 2003.
He has worked extensively on the evaluation of labor market programs in both developed and developing countries, as well as other topics in labor policy and methodological issues in impact evaluation.
He has provided expertise to, inter alia, GIZ, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the ILO, and the European Commission.
He studied economics in Heidelberg, Dublin and Amsterdam, and worked as lecturer and postdoctoral fellow at UC Berkeley.
