Mr. James H.
Stewart is a Principal at Carmichael Hill & Associates, Inc. He joined Carmichael Hill in 1993 which at the time was a Registered Investment Advisor for high net worth individuals and Third Party Administrator for small business retirement plans.
He gained invaluable experience about investments, participant education, retirement planning, insurance, education planning, estate planning and pension administration.
In the late 1990’s, Carmichael Hill spun off the pension administration business into a separate company and Mr. Stewart became a Partner in Carmichael Hill which solely focused on being a Registered Investment Advisor for individuals and small businesses.
In 2013, he became the sole owner of Carmichael Hill.
As the Chief Compliance Officer, he is responsible for proactively identifying, evaluating, mitigating and reporting on compliance and regulatory risks.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
He earned the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist and Registered Paraplanner designations.
He also earned the Certified Financial Planner certification.
