Jeff Schmidt

Mr. Jeff Schmidt is a Managing Director of Portfolio Construction at K2/D&S Management Co. LLC.
He joined K2 in July 2013.
Mr. Schmidt began his career in finance by spending 11 years as a proprietary global fixed income trader.
Prior to joining K2, he was the head of Client Solutions, North America for InfraHedge Limited, a subsidiary of State Street Corporation.
Prior to State Street, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development for WR Platform Advisors, LP.
From 2006 to 2009, he was Director of Merrill Lynch's Hedge Fund Development & Management Group.
From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Schmidt was Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer of Marathon Capital Growth Partners, LLC.
Prior professional experience includes his positions as Senior Hedge Fund/Derivatives Specialist at Bloomberg LP, Managing Member of Windward Investment Advisors, as well as Director of Hedge Fund Sales at Credit Suisse First Boston, Credit Lyonnais and Bear Stearns.
Mr. Schmidt graduated from Tulane University in 1980 with a B.A.
in economics as well as an M.B.A.
in economics and finance in 1982.
