Jean-Yves Coste

Previously, Mr. Jean-Yves Coste was based in London and was responsible for Cowen’s (ex- SG Cowen) European Healthcare Investment Banking Group, a position in which he leveraged his client relationships to reinvigorate their European franchise.
Prior to this assignment, he was working as Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions Department at the headquarters of Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies with € 11bn of net sales (US$ 16bn) in 2007.
In this capacity, he directed the execution of Boehringer Ingelheim’s M&A strategy and collaborated closely with the Chairman and the Corporate Board of Managing Directors to implement a number of transactions across Boehringer Ingelheim’s diversified portfolios and geographies.
Before that, Mr. Jean-Yves Coste spent seven years in the M&A and Healthcare Groups of Deutsche Bank in Germany and in the US, where he led the effort to develop Deutsche’s cross-border M&A execution franchise.
