Areca Capital Sdn. Bhd. is an independent, Malaysian fund management firm which was founded in 2006. Headquartered in Petaling Jaya, the firm provides fund management and wealth advisory services to individuals, corporates, family and private trusts, foundations and other institutions.

Muamalat Invest Sdn. Bhd. (MISB) is a wholly-owned asset management subsidiary of Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd. (BMMB), which in turn is 70% owned by DRB-Hicom Berhad (KLSE: DRBHCOM) in Malaysia. Founded in 1995, the firm was originally known as Avenue Unit Trust Management Bhd. In 2005, they became Avenue Invest Berhad following receipt of their Fund Manager's license from the Securities Commission and were subsequently renamed Muamalat Avenue. In 2007, BMMB acquired Muamalat Avenue, which then became Muamalat Invest. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, MISB provides Shariah compliant investment services for institutional and retail investors.
