abrdn Investment Management Ltd. (AIM) is the wholly-owned investment management subsidiary of Standard Life Investments Holdings Ltd., itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of abrdn Plc (LON: ABDN) in Great Britain. Formerly known as Standard Life Investments Ltd., the firm was founded in 1990 as the dedicated investment arm of the Standard Life group. Headquartered in Edinburgh, AIM is a socially responsible investor which offers Standard Life Ethical Funds for investors concerned about environmental and social issues. Their flagship is the UK Select Fund.

Monument was formed in 1991 as an independent institutional and corporate broker. Monument's principal customer base consists of institutions, fund managers, market professionals, corporate and hedge funds. The firm's primary areas of expertise are equity markets and fixed income markets both physical and derivatives thereof. In 2006 the company became part of the Insinger de Beaufort group of companies. However after two successful years with Insinger in 2008 Monument again reverted to being an independent company and now has a close association with Oakley Capital Private Equity.

AlphaGen Capital Ltd. is the alternative investment subsidiary of Janus Henderson Group Plc (LSE, NYSE: JHG) in Great Britain. Formerly known as Henderson Alternative Investment Advisor Ltd., the firm was founded in 1969 and changed their name to AlphaGen Capital Ltd. in 2015. Headquartered in London, AlphaGen Capital provides investment advisory services to a range of individual and institutional investors.
