David Cohen

Mr. David P.
Cohen is a President & Chief Compliance Officer at Minerva Advisors LLC.
Mr. Cohen is responsible for portfolio management and investment research and specializes in investments in small-cap and micro-cap U.S.
and foreign companies that are publicly traded.
In addition, he specializes in investments in the industrial and financial sectors.
Mr. Cohen is the managing and sole member of Minerva.
Between 1988 and 2011, he was the Founder and President of Athena Capital Management, Inc. prior to Athena’s merger with and into Minerva on December 31, 2011.
He was previously a research analyst and portfolio manager at a Philadelphia-based investment partnership from 1984 to 1988.
In 2011, he became a member of the board of directors of CampusWorks, Inc., a privately held IT firm providing services to higher education.
Between 1993 and 1997, he served on the board of Penn-America Group, a publicly held insurance company.
He received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College.
