Curt Labelle

As the Managing Director of Energy Investments at Invico Capital Corporation, Curt Labelle brings over 40 years of experience in the North American energy sector to his role advising on the short and long-term roadmap of Invico’s energy portfolio and overseeing the energy investment team.
Before joining Invico, Curt served as the Vice President of Operations at Summit Resource Ltd.
and Bonus Energy Ltd.
before transitioning to Legacy Oil and Gas Inc. as the Vice President of Production.
He also worked as the President of Mount Bastion Oil and Gas Corp.
and most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Point Break Energy Corp.
Over the years, Curt has been directly involved in the evaluation and closing of more than $1.7 billion of oil and gas mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and is a former executive of the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE) and the Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM) – Petroleum Branch.
Curt currently serves on the Board of Directors of two private oil and gas companies and has co-authored numerous technical papers.
He is a Professional Engineer (P.
Eng.) and graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
Curt resides in Calgary, AB, with his spouse and enjoys running, cycling, and all water activities, as well as rocking out with his band in his spare time.
