Andrew W. Norris

Prior to joining TFG in 2004, Mr. Norris served as Senior Resource Forester for Plum Creek’s Macon, Georgia district where he managed over 130,000 acres of forestlands.
His responsibilities included silvicultural programs, forest productivity, inventory systems, GIS, harvesting, and leasing programs.
Before that, he held positions in procurement, land management, and forest management assistance with Georgia-Pacific Corporation and The Timber Company.
His experience also includes forestry educational outreach in North Carolina to landowners, teachers, and grade school students.
Mr. Norris received a B.S.
in Forest Resource Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
He is a Registered Forester in North Carolina and a member of the Society of American Foresters.
