Franklin Templeton Investímentos (Brasil) Ltda. (Franklin Templeton Brasil) is the Brazilian investment management subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Capital Holdings Pte Ltd., ultimately held by Franklin Resources, Inc. (NYSE: BEN) in the US. The firm was created in 2006 when Franklin Templeton Investments took full control of Bradesco Templeton Asset Management Ltda., originally founded in 1997 as a joint venture between subsidiaries of Banco Bradesco and Franklin Templeton Investments. Headquartered in Sao Paulo, Franklin Templeton Brasil is responsible for the managed funds and portfolios, as well as for managing the exposure in Brazil of various funds distributed by Franklin Templeton in other markets.

Santander Brasil Asset Management DTVM SA (SAM Brasil) is the Brazil-based investment management subsidiary of SAM Brasil Participacoes SA, itself a subsidiary of Santander Asset Management Holdings Ltd. in Great Britain. Formerly known as Santander Banespa Asset Management, the firm was founded in 1968 and is located in São Paulo, where they provide mutual fund and discretionary portfolio management for institutions, pension funds, corporations and private investors. In 2009 the firm absorbed the activities of Banco Real Asset Management. They are a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment which integrates ESG factors into their investment processes.
