Alcee Lamar Hastings

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is a historically African American Greek-letter organization founded in 1911 on the principle of achievement for black collegiate men. The private company is based in Indianapolis, IN, and has its Alpha chapter on Indiana University's campus. It is the second oldest existing collegiate historically black Greek letter fraternity and the first intercollegiate fraternity incorporated as a national body. The fraternity has more than 125,000 members nationwide with 700 undergraduate and alumni chapters in nearly every state of the US, and international chapters in Europe, Asia, the West Indies, Africa, and the Caribbean. Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. actively participates in community service activities locally, nationwide, and globally.
