Sherman is Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder at Firstrust Financial Resources LLC.
Since 1985, Mr. Sherman has advised high net worth individuals in all aspects of wealth management with a concentration on estate planning and asset management.
As a founder of Progress Financial Resources, FFR’s predecessor, he is recognized as an innovator of the integration of banking and wealth management.
Prior to the partners re-acquiring PFR from Bank of America, PFR was one of the first companies to recognize how to capture synergies with banks post Gramm-Leach-Bliley.
He is also President of Firstrust Financial Advisors (FFA), the firm’s Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).
Mr. Sherman has been a guest commentator on CNBC’s "Power Lunch" and Fox Business News and has authored several articles that have been published in major industry journals.
He has also been quoted by the Chicago Tribune, Pittsburgh Gazette, National Underwriter, MoneyNews.com, Washington Post, Bloomberg News, St. Louis Post Dispatch, Planadvisor, Chicago Tribune and the Philadelphia Daily News.
Mr. Sherman received his B.A.
in Business Administration from Gettysburg College.
