Currently, Ved Kumar Jain occupies the position of Chairman for Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corp. Ltd. Mr. Jain is also Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Member of Indian Council of Arbitration, Member of Income Tax Appellate Tribunal Bar Association and Member of India Ministry of Law & Justice and on the board of 8 other companies.

In his past career he held the position of Member of India Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Chairman-Direct Taxes at Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India.

He received an undergraduate degree from Panjab University Chandigarh, an undergraduate degree from Panjab University Chandigarh and a graduate degree from the University of Delhi.
