Deep Kalra founded MakeMyTrip Ltd. and Ashoka University. Currently, he holds the position of Group Chairman & Chief Mentor at MakeMyTrip Ltd. and Chairman & Group Chief Executive Officer at Makemytrip (Private Equity) (a subsidiary of MakeMyTrip Ltd.). Mr. Kalra is also Founding Member at iamgurgaon and Founding Member at IndiaTech and on the board of 5 other companies.

In the past Deep Kalra occupied the position of President for Tie Delhi Ncr, Principal at ABN AMRO Bank NV (Old), Vice President-Business Development at GE Capital India and Member-Executive Council at National Association of Software & Services Cos.

He received an undergraduate degree from St. Stephens College and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management.
