Hofmeister is currently the Director at Great Lakes Water Quality.
He also holds the position of SVP-Sustainability & External Affairs at CMS Energy Corp.
Additionally, he is the SVP-Governmental, Regulatory & Public Affairs at Consumers Energy Co. and the Senior Vice President at NorthStar Clean Energy Co. He is also a Member of the Keystone Energy Board.
In the past, Mr. Hofmeister worked as a Visiting Professor at The University of Michigan Law School from 2013 to 2015.
Prior to that, he was an Assistant Professor at Wayne State University (Michigan) from 2010 to 2013.
Mr. Hofmeister completed his graduate degree at Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree at Harvard College.
