She is also on the board of BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

In her past career she occupied the position of Deputy Director-Oncology Center of Excellence at US Food & Drug Administration.

Dr. McKee received an undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and a doctorate from Tulane University School of Medicine.
