Bitcoin bijna 50.000 dollar waard

Cryptomunt niet te stoppen.

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) Bitcoin noteerde zondag 5 procent hoger op 49.698 dollar en daarmee een nieuw record.

De cryptomunt koerste de afgelopen week flink hoger, nadat bekend werd dat Tesla voor 1,5 miljard dollar heeft geïnvesteerd in de munt.

Ook Mastercard maakte afgelopen week bekend dat het cryptobetalingen gaat accepteren, hoewel deze wel omgezet worden in gewone valuta.

Verder gaat ook Bank of New York Mellon diensten leveren om bitcointransacties mogelijk te maken.

Sinds begin 2021 is bitcoin bijna 72 procent in waarde gestegen.
