Tanya Wolfram

Prior to joining Cherokee in 2004, Ms. Wolfram was the Director of Research for the Community Reinvestment Association of North Carolina, a nonprofit community economic development organization in Durham, North Carolina.
As Director of Research, Ms. Wolfram conducted policy and quantitative analysis, qualitative research, public relations and community outreach.
A former elementary school teacher, Ms. Wolfram spent a year working with street children in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she developed an interest in economic development.
She received a Masters in Public Policy from Duke University and a BA in History from Brown University.
