Carolina Power & Light Co. generates, transmits, distributes and sells electricity in portions of North Carolina and South Carolina. It serves chemicals, textiles, paper, food, metals, wood products, rubber & plastics, and stone products industries. The company was founded in 1908 and is headquartered in Raleigh, NC.
