(NASDAQ: MORN) in the US. The firm was founded in 1977 by Roger Ibbotson as Intech. They were acquired by Morningstar and were renamed Ibbotson Associates Australia Ltd. in 2010. In 2016, the firm changed their name to Morningstar Investment Management Australia Ltd. Headquartered in Barangaroo, Morningstar Australia provides investment management and consulting services to institutions, advisers and individual investors.

Franklin Portfolio Associates (FPA) is an institutional asset manager specializing in risk controlled, benchmark driven strategies. The firm was founded in 1982 and manages institutional assets on behalf of corporate pension plans, public pension plans, endowments, foundations and Taft Hartley pension plans, as well as acting as sub-advisor for mutual funds and commingled funds. They are an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of Mellon Financial Corp. (NYSE: MEL)
