Osama Shimizu

Osama Shimizu is an experienced, Japanese, investment professional.
He is on secondment to Apposite from Mizuho International plc.
He was previously responsible for identification and screening of US and European investment opportunities within Mizuho's Special Situations Group (with a strong focus on distressed investment opportunities).
He has significant experience of deal arrangement and structuring within Mizuho's Medium Term Note group, targeting European and Japanese investors.
He is both a CFA and Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
He has a Bachelors degree in Political Science and Economics from Waseda University (1994).
He has lived and worked in the US and UK and is fully bi-lingual.
