Mr. Olivier Vallée is Partner & Senior Research Analyst at Natureo Finance SAS.
Mr. Vallée joined Natureo Finance in January 2010 to initiate the energy storage sector, covering the lithium, battery space but also lead-acid and ultracapacitor companies.
He has a deep technical understanding and extensive worldwide network in the energy storage industry and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Since 1996 he has developed an extensive experience in the finance industry through positions in investment banking and asset management in France, Italy and the U.K.
He has specialized in technology, alternative and renewable energies and environmental technologies, starting at Hambrecht & Quist (now J.P.
Morgan) in 1998 and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey in 2002.
He served as Investment Advisor to Park Place’s technology hedge fund and Head of Research for Dynamic Decisions, a quant hedge fund.
Prior to Hambrecht & Quist, he worked with the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, the European Community, and the Western Behavioral Sciences Institute.
Raised in Silicon Valley, California, Mr. Vallée is fluent in French and English and holds a degree in Physics from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (2000).
