The firm was founded in 1996 and is a subsidiary of Wellington Management Global Holdings Ltd., ultimately held by Wellington Management Group LLP in the US. WM Singapore provides client liaison, investment monitoring and business development services for Wellington Management and its clients in South-East Asia. The firm also provides research and portfolio management services and trading services and serves as the contractually named manager for certain clients in Singapore and for certain Sponsored Funds.
