Michael Coop

Mr. Michael Coop is Head-Multi Asset Portfolio Management at Prudential Portfolio Management Group Ltd.
Mr. Coop was previously employed as Head of Multi Asset Strategies by Ibbotson Associates Australia Ltd.
He has over 25 years' experience in asset allocation, equity strategy, multi manager investing and alternative investments.
Since joining Ibbotson Associates in 2003, he has held the positions of Head of Investment Research, Head of Capital Markets and most recently Head of Alternative Investments, during which he designed and established Ibbotson’s alternative investment programme and funds.
Prior to 2003, Mr. Coop worked as Australian Equity Strategist with Bankers Trust Asset Management in Sydney, Global Asset Allocation Strategist for AXA Investment Management in London, Asset Consultant with actuaries Bacon and Woodrow in London and research analyst at IPAC in Sydney.
He received his undergraduate degree from Auckland University and a graduate degree from the University of London.
