Banca Intermobiliare di Investimenti e Gestioni SpA provides private banking services. It operates through the following business segments: Clients, Finance, Corporate Center, and Non Core. The Client segment covers all typical transactions of private banking such as securities brokerage, management, investment services consulting, distribution of managed savings products through individual and collective asset management portfolios, and ancillary activities such as lending and corporate advisory services. The Finance segment includes the trading and brokerage operations for over-the-counter instruments and exchange rates carried out on the proprietary portfolio, the management of the treasury's interbank operations, and the management of rate and liquidity risk carried out by the bank. The Corporate Center segment consists of the parent company's general management and the corporate bodies, as well as support activities of the governance bodies of its subsidiaries. The Non-Core segment identifies all the non-performing credit positions, probable defaults, performing loans with counterparts that are corporate clients. The company was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in Turin, Italy.
