Mr. Marshall Butler was a co-founder and is Chairman of Nitzanim AVX/Kyocera Venture Capital Fund.
Nitzanim was formed to invest in Israel in 1993 and has realized over $170 million on its initial capital of $20 million.
He formerly served as Chief Executive Officer of AVX and was also a Director of Kyocera.
Mr. Butler serves on the Board of Governors of the Technion, as well as on the boards of MassMutual Corporate Investors, MassMutual Participation Investors, Alpha Technologies and First Israel Mezzanine Investors.
He has a degree in business administration from NYU.
In 2001, he received an Honorary Doctorate from the Technion Institute.
