John Jiang

Dr. John Jiang is a Managing Director & Director of Quantitative Research at Bessemer Investment Management LLC.
In this role, he is responsible for research and development of quantitative models and tools.
He is also Co-Portfolio Manager of the Credit Income portfolio and a member of the firm’s Investment Risk Committee.
Prior to joining Bessemer, he was a consultant for the Bank of New York Mellon.
Before that, he worked at Rutgers University as a research fellow, responsible for research in the areas of interfacial phenomena and ultralow temperature physics.
He earned a Ph.D.
in physics from Rutgers University and B.S.
from Fudan University.
He is a recipient of the CUSPEA (China-U.S.
Physics Examination and Application) Scholarship, awarded to top-ranking Chinese students to study in the U.S.
He is a CFA charter holder and a certified Financial Risk Manager.
He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.
